A Mechanical Translation of the Book of Genesis: The Hebrew Text Translated Literally Word for Word
by Jeff A. Benner
While the original Biblical text was written from an Ancient Hebraic perspective, all modern translations of the Bible are written from our modern western perspective. This traditional approach to translation does allow for ease in reading but it erases the original Hebraic style and meaning of the text. In addition, translations take many liberties by removing, changing or adding words from the text in order to "fix" the text for the English reader.
"The Mechanical Translation" is a new and unique style of translation that will reveal the Hebrew behind the English by translating the text very literally and faithfully to the original Hebrew text. A great tool for those interested in studying the Bible who have no Hebrew background as well as for those who are learning to read the Bible in its original Hebrew language. |

The Uncaused Cause
by Clara Miller
“The Uncaused Cause” is a re-telling of Genesis and Exodus through the eyes of the Old Man (T.O.M.). The first part (Genesis) describes the beginning of the beginning and clarifies why and how the highest Archangel in heaven chose to disobey and face exile from his Father and his Heavenly family rather than apologize and work with his Brothers rather than against them. The second part (Exodus) explains how the Daoine Sidhe first arrived on Earth and their trials and tribulations before settling first in Ireland and then in the Land of Faerie. The two stories interweave as do the characters. |

Rhythm of Emotion
by Dawn Lovett-Whitney
How does a beautiful, young party girl, who has never been denied a luxury, approach life after educational testing has shown her to have a higher than average IQ, but daily choices have confirmed her astounding lack of common sense?
Meet Alley, a clueless genius who still lives as carefree as a university freshman until a life threatening event forces her to deal with the lurid events of her past and present. Alley traces her current perils of loneliness and illness to a string of misadventures that began in college.
Enter Gigi, an attractive young woman from a humble background intent on using her brain to escape poverty. As both confidant and voice of reason, Gigi uses every moment she has with Alley as a time to reeducate her on living up to her potential while challenging her to learn from her mistakes instead of repeating them. Gigi's request that Alley conform to social standards falls on deaf ears as does Alley's attempts to get her friend to loosen up and enjoy life.
Together, they embark on a rhythmic journey down memory lane filled with laughter, passion and friendship on Alley's pursuit of "the one that got away," if given one more chance. |
