ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Edwin Perley grew up on a farm in western Iowa, one that has been owned by his family for over a hundred years. He served a year and a half as a company clerk in Vietnam. He worked for a number of years in a laboratory in South Dakota State University after earning his Master's Degree in Chemistry. He has also earned an associate degree in computer program design. He and his family currently reside in Eastern Nebraska, where he works as an engraver. He is also part of the summer staff of a state recreation area.
Mr. Perley has traveled extensively in the United States, visiting all of the western states except Alaska and most of those in the east. He has a very active mind and a wide range of interests, including computer program design, astronomy, astrophotography, all branches of science, geography, history and social issues. In his spare time, he writes, designs programs and maintains a web site.
