Each of these eleven short stories delves into the psychological states of the main characters, and how they fiercely search for ways to overcome their shortcomings. Topics range from introspective explorations of paranoia, to stories about greed, alcoholism, choosing relationships, motives regarding career choice, as well as childhood dreams, humorous road trips, loss of innocence and the struggle to reclaim them and it.
With the Eleven's title was inspired by the replacement apostle-Matthias. This collection may well call its readers to discover their own spiritual paths.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rob Grant has written the fiction beach-noir novel Two Bottled Dolphins which garnered acclaim through Writer's Digest Editor Kristin Godley: "I felt that I could see the settings and that I knew the characters; the strong characterizations and gritty backdrop were superb."
Grant has been featured in Aventura Magazine, has toured cross country and has spoken out on topic of alcoholism, the theme of Dolphins. He now writes freelance for South Florida Sun Times; he is pitching a sitcom concert to major networks and writes short screenplays. The author has been selected for Marquis Who's Who in America (2006 Edition) for significant societal contribution.
A graduate of Stonehill College, Rob is working on a second novel to take place on Martha's Vineyard.
