Legend speaks of an old manuscript, which spoke of such a person. This secret manuscript had been hidden from the medieval churchmen, for fear of the destruction of both the manuscript and its source. The manuscript was later retranslated and disguised as a simple, unmarked book.
Till this very day, the church is still in search of both the book, and whom the book spoke of. The mysterious, “Wraith of God”.
Meanwhile, somewhere in our not too distant future, in a waste land called New York City, there is said to be a woman who has become an urban legend. They say that she moves like lightning and strikes like thunder and has an uncanny ability to dwell amongst the shadows. They say that she self righteously claims to be the avenging angel of God.
Her mission is to behead, and dismember the unrighteous, the unholy, and the impure. To make matters worst, she wields a fifty two inch double-bladed sword. Legend has it, that this mythological weapon has the power to take out both the living, and non-living alike. At this point, there are several questions that need to be answered. First, is this woman really God’s own personal terminator? Second, or is she just another New Yorker that has gone completely mad? If she is of the ladder, then why has the church gotten so heavily involved? Finally, what is this woman’s connection to the mysterious book and why has she slowly become public enemy number one?
Either way, there’s going to be mad hell to pay. And as they say… “Hell has no fury, like a woman’s scorn.”
Hell has no fury, like a “God Wraith”! ABOUT THE AUTHOR Osman Karriem was born to William and Lucy Hayes of Glassboro, N.J.
