From Bill Kauth, who wrote the foreword of The Corporate Cult
This guy barbecues sacred cows for breakfast!
I cannot read Zubaty's books quietly. I find myself constantly hooting, chortling, laughing like a nut, saying, "Wow, he can't say that!!" But he does say "that" over and over in hundreds of outrageous ways. My wife and I were on vacation and I'm reading his book, erupting in snorts and cackles. She said, "Bill, you're supposed to read me the really good parts." I burped, "I'd have to read you the whole thing."
Zubaty asks us questions - and gives us answers. If, as he amply demonstrates, corporations are cults, they should not be allowed into our schools. Would we let the Moonies or the Jehovah's Witnesses into our schools to provide teaching aids? Then why do we let in Apple and Channel One? And...corporate cults should not be allowed to influence our government and research institutions with a manner of thinking, a method of thinking, which leaves them as the only "logical" solution to life's dilemmas. If they're the ones who get to ask the questions the only answers we get are answers conducive to their expansion and consumption of yet more of our resources. With drug companies commandeering medical research grants what do you think we're going to get but more drugs as the answer to health concerns?
And how in the world did corporations get themselves legally defined as "persons" - with all the legal rights of people and none of the responsibilities? According to Zubaty this bogus status should be challenged in federal court as a violation of the separation of church and state. Governments can't create people! Only God creates people! This book is a can-opener for your mind.
