"Simply Logic and Reason," by Little Feather. ISBN 978-1-60264-786-2 (softcover). $13.95. 198 Pages.

The first part of Simply Logic and Reason looks at the Bible and, specifically, the creation account. It shows that both the Big Bang and the Theory of Evolution are not at odds with the Biblical account. The Bible is not a scientific work, but does not contradict current scientific thought. The work began on this section over 25 years ago when the author was a candidate for the Methodist ministry. The second part of Simply Logic and Reason focuses on physics and the search for a unified field theory, or theory of everything as some call it. An electron and atomic model is put forth that unifies Quantum Mechanics, Relativity, and Classical physics in a logical manner. While not a unified field theory itself, it does make some good predictions. It correctly predicts the mass of the Up and Down quarks, solves the Charge Parity and matter/antimatter imbalance problem, explains quark confinement and addresses several other atomic properties. This work began as an educational model the author used to teach himself physics and was over 12 years in the making.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Little Feather is my nickname due to my Cherokee heritage, but German, Scott, and Irish are in the mix as well. My work and life experience is varied as well. Fifteen years as a professional stagehand provided many opportunities for self-study and other interests from spelunking to dance and more. I was also a Gunsmith, a Candidate for the Methodist ministry, and many other things. Mainly, though, I am a husband and a father, happily married for over 20 years and with a daughter I am quite proud of. So I am very much like many of my readers. I do not have a string of degrees or titles. I'm just an average person who has worked and studied hard most of my life, doing the best I can. My love from childhood was physics and, as in many things, I am self-taught in the subject. For physics, that was no easy task for me. The model given in the book is the result of my effort to understand and relate new concepts to known ones. So while I am just an average person, I hope my work will meet with the readers' approval.
