ABOUT THE AUTHOR
An avid reader with a creative imagination, Louise Lindell has been writing poetry, non-fiction and short stories about fantasy since she was a teenager. Her earliest memories include her grandmother reading C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, and going on Tolkien- inspired "adventures" in the Maryland woods with her Aunt Amy. Lindell's favorite classes in college included anthropology, psychology, foreign languages, literature, and creative writing. Her greatest influences in life have been her mother, her connection to nature and her friendship with her sister. She lives near the coast of Georgia, and enjoys spending time with her family when she is not writing. It has been a life-long dream of hers to write a full-length fantasy novel. Lindell's sister, Claire, challenged her to make her dream a reality, and the thread of a story that began as a phone conversation blossomed into what could be a multi-book series. The completion of Sanctity Shattered also fulfills a promise to her mother, who always inspired her children to live their lives not by the dictates of society, but by the persistent mandates of the heart.
