Only then can he prevent a gross miscarriage of justice and solve the mystery of the Beaumont murders. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Peter Tyzack is an Englishman living in California. He was educated in England, attended the Sandhurst military academy and has degrees from English universities in engineering and humanities. Before retiring he served in the British armed forces and worked in telecommunications. He has traveled widely in his professional career and for pleasure and for several years after retiring from full-time employment was a hiking tour leader in Europe. He was a travel writer before deciding to write mystery novels. These novels are set in late Victorian England, a period and place with which he feels a particular affinity. Rooted in Dishonor is his first novel. He and his wife continue to travel extensively and especially enjoy walking in the English countryside and in the remoter parts of Eastern Europe.
