ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lucile Moore, Ph.D., has written two other books on rabbit health ("A House Rabbit Primer" and "When Your Rabbit Needs Special Care"), and her articles on rabbit history, care, folklore, and mythology have appeared online and in rabbit publications in the US and Britain. A widely-recognized expert on rabbits, Lucile currently shares her life with eleven domestic rabbits and numerous wild cottontails and black-tailed jackrabbits.

Illustrator Evonne Vey is an artist who specializes in pet portraits. Her interest in rabbit nutrition and alternative medicine led her to found The Natural Rabbit e-group. Evonne and her husband share their home with multiple rabbits, cats, and a dog.
