How can apple pie be compared to girls, and automobile trips to the human heart? Is there a hidden purpose in bee stings? What's the secret for an easier life? In this delightful collection of mainstream poems, nothing will seem typical, and nothing ordinary-not worn shoes, apple pie, taxes, burning leaves, alarm clocks or life in general. Everything takes on a transcendent quality through the author's use of clever associations and vivid imagery.
