ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The author, a former mechanical engineer, is a native Philadelphian and a graduate of Central High School. He attended Drexel University. He lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Jules has a wife of many years, four children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Although he’s written two novels, he prefers writing short stories, maybe because they present greater opportunity for creativity and diversity of ideas. Some of his writing draws form life experience and historic events. Other, as some TV dramas like to say, is ripped from the headlines while much of a product of his imagination. He likes to say, “When my research breaks down, I resort to B.S.”

Shades of Bale, his first novel, was published in 2000, followed by The Attic Trunk, A Collection of Curious Tales in 2005, and the novel Ultimate Futures in 2009. The Tockterman Papers, Wondrous Tales is his last offering.
