“Tao for the Day” offers readers a daily quotation taken from the ancient masters of Taoist thought. Each daily quotation is accompanied by a reflective thought aimed at helping individuals pursue a life of balance and moderation. In an era when stressors appear like raindrops on a stormy day, the words of the Taoist masters can afford people an opportunity to look at their frenzied lives and slow them down to livable pace. Further, the reflective offerings associated with each daily quotation are geared toward taking the Taoist masters’ words and applying them to real life circumstances commonly encountered. In these ways “Tao for the Day” provides readers a daily lesson geared toward self-reflection and improvement.
