ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Stump Connolly has been covering presidential politics since Barack Obama was in short pants. A former newspaperman, political consultant and documentary filmmaker, his 1992 PBS documentaries from inside the Clinton campaign “Road to the Presidency” have been hailed as a TV breakthrough and his 1996 column “STUMP, A Campaign Journal” was one of the first political commentaries to appear on the Internet. He lives in Chicago with his wife and three children.
