ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ellen Corrigan lives in the beautiful, peaceful
countryside of Ireland with her husband and daughter. A
new love of writing has found its way into her life now
that her daughter is grown, and although a natural poet,
she was surprised to find within herself the desire to
write a novel; this is a testament, she says, to the fact
that “inspiration can arrive when one’s least expecting
it.”
Working part-time allows her the spare time to capture
magic moments and allow her creativity and imagination to
flow freely. She is quite fond of traveling alone and
welcomes the opportunity to meet new people. Though she
does enjoy writing while on these travels, she admits to
often getting inspiration from the comfort of her own
armchair. When the weather is kind, her favorite place to
write is outdoors; she thoroughly enjoys the tranquility
of woodland and river landscapes.
Ellen has faced small adversities at various times in
her life, which have only served to give her a deeper
appreciation for absolutely everything she has. She
regards time spent with her family as very precious.
