The American Midwest is a place that can easily be overlooked in terms of natural beauty. Yet, for those people who travel through this part of the country with their eyes open, wondrous sights abound. "Prairie Paths" is a collection of poems that focuses on the sights, sounds, experiences, and emotions that the Midwest can create. Readers will take a literary walk through the landscapes, places, and feelings that a journey down a prairie path can create. In making this journey readers will experience, among other things, a hawk soaring, waterfalls cascading into Lake Superior, the solitary nature of a woodland lake on a foggy morning, or the feelings of loss that can periodically affect us. Using a free verse style author Greg Romaneck brings the Prairie Paths of the American Midwest to the attention and into the lives of readers.
