ISBN 978-1-60264-078-8, softcover, $12.95, 92 pages “On the Outside, Looking In!” is the second book by this author, following on from “Four Seasons in One Day.” The poems describe the views, thoughts and insights on everyday situations in life. The love, passion, and hate we sometimes all feel, mixed with the beauty and wonderment of the English countryside. The author’s ideas are written in lyrical prose that also captures his frustrations on money, work and the constant clamor for celebrity. The title comes from a poem in the book called “On the Outside,” which reflects that author’s opinion, where we all at some time in our lives have felt that we don’t fit in to society’s current ideals. The book also portrays today’s outlook in England and can be enjoyed by people of all ages.ABOUT THE AUTHOR The author was born in 1966 in the city of Bath, England. He has an English father and an Italian mother. He was educated at his local town school and college in the county of Wiltshire, where he still resides today. He worked for many years for Royal Mail before a serious illness. This is the second poem book from this author, and follows on from where his journey ended with four seasons in one day, which was written after a long convalescence from the life threatening illness Meningitis.
