ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Paul A. Reyff is a retired Captain, U.S. Navy, whose career took him from the California Maritime Academy to Consultant for Energy Programs, Applied Physics Laboratory, The Johns Hopkins University. During this career he served as aide to Fleet Commander Chester W. Nimitz (pictured above), Project Manager, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Special Assistant to the Commandant, U. S. Coast Guard, Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Logistics, and Director, Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion Program, U. S. Department of Energy.
